Thrilled to be part of MAKEMORE festival this summer! From Thursday 23rd – Monday 27th August in London’s Victoria Park, creative talents will be coming together with an array of inspirational and hands-on activities to make a festival unlike any other.
There will be crafts, visual art, immersive performance, music and – of course – delicious food and drink. I’ll be part of the festival with two events:
Friday 24th August – a special supper for a limited number of guests to enjoy home cooked regional Indian cooking and flavours of curries from across India;
Saturday 25th August – a demonstration on the main MAKE FOOD stage sharing tips on delicious south Indian vegan and vegetarian curries.
Join us and come along to check out the brilliant line up including Guardian columnist Felicity Cloake and Rachel Roddy; ‘Masterchef’ winner Dhruv Baker showing charcuterie skills; award-winning food-writer Charlotte Pike giving insights on smoking and fermenting; and many many more.
Alongside food expect an incredible lineup of programming including Aardman, the masterminds behind Wallace and Gromit, Turning Earth the ceramics studio and Barn the Spoon the wood turning studio. There’s also the chance to learn about urban beekeeping with Bermondsey Street Bees and urban gardening with Kathy Slack and Alice Holden.
Early Bird tickets are still on sale so to get yours head to makemore.art
