Street Food Night Market – Urban Night Feast

I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again… I love Indian street food and if my blog ‘Cook in a Curry’ is anything to go by there are a lot of recipes that reflect just what authentic Indian Street Food is all about. Delicious, quick and cooked with fresh ingredients, spices and lashings of chutneys bringing out maximum flavour. The list is endless and includes a massive vegetarian and non vegetarian fare. My fondest memories include visiting street carts and markets with my friends & family when I lived in India. It was all too common to have a delectable Indian feast at 3am with melted cheesy or spicy kheema stuffed parathas, kebabs and array of Indian chaat and stuffed rotis. All washed down with cooling falooda drinks, fresh juices or some chaas.

Sounds like your kinda thing? Come along to Urban Night Feast UK’s most exciting street food night market held in Newcastle upon Tyne at the end of September. Think pulled pork, pork buns, spicy ribs, black pudding scotch eggs and charcoal grilled lobster. Ofcourse there will also be finger licking good Indian chaat. Check out the website for more details. Also check out the Sky video below with my recipes for Dhokla and Hakka Chilli Paneer - http://tyneandwear.sky.com/news/article/34488

See you at Urban Night Feast!
