Thrilled to be part of BBC’s Big British Asian Summer filming some of my favourite Indian recipes that have been part of my family for years. A next few weeks are celebration of the vibrant cultures and communities across the UK. There is loads more coming up to mark the occasion with chefs, presenters and exciting events!

I have shared a classic Punjabi chicken curry, delicious tikkas and a quick brunch recipe. There is also a simple paratha recipe that I’ve shared for those looking to try something along with your curries. Along my secrets on how to layer spices.
