Tandoori Home Cooking- New cookbook announcement!

I am THRILLED to share the cover of my new cookbook out in May this year. The recipes, food and stories in this book are from across the streets of India celebrating an age old technique that has been about bringing flavours from a tandoor (clay oven) to our dinner tables.

In Tandoori Home Cooking I capture the evolution and influence of communal kitchens along the northern frontier of India that welcomed people from across borders, communities, cultures and meals that centred around a tandoor weaving the trail of the clay oven through historic times. Bringing warmth, a sense belonging and comfort food that always remain a constant during uncertain times.

Through my travels over the years this is a story of the food I have eaten and the amazing people I have met along the way. Reconnecting with the flavours in India; I want you all to taste these classic tandoori recipes, marinades, ground spices and revel in the culinary heritage. Bringing these dishes into your homes using conventional methods of cooking that we can use all year round. Get ready for smoky kebabs, fresh zingy chutneys, delicious salads, ghee ladened rotis and kulchas. I am proud of this cookbook and the conscious attempt to dial up the flavour quotient has me excited for you all to delve into it.
